Measures Afoot for Welfare of Underprivileged Segments: Tarar

Lahore: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that the government is taking measures to improve the living standards of underprivileged segments of society. Addressing a ration distribution ceremony in Lahore today, he emphasized the government’s commitment to social welfare.

According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar highlighted that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has introduced a special Ramazan package at the federal level. He further mentioned that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has implemented similar initiatives at the provincial level to support those in need.

The minister’s remarks underscore the government’s efforts to provide relief and support to the underprivileged, especially during the holy month of Ramazan. These measures aim to address pressing social issues and improve the quality of life for vulnerable populations.
