Mecca: Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan has said the signing of the Mecca Agreement for Joint Defence affirms the depth of the fraternal and strategic relations among Pakistan, Trkiye, and Saudi Arabia.
According to Radio Pakistan, Prince Faisal highlighted in a post on X that the agreement, signed by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, marks an important milestone in defense cooperation among the three nations. It signifies a shared desire to unify efforts in confronting challenges and threats affecting regional security and stability.
He emphasized that the agreement embodies the shared political will of the three countries to protect security and stability, supporting a more secure regional environment.
