Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the initiation of mega projects focusing on water drainage, sewerage, and road construction under the Punjab Development Programme across the province.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister made the announcement during a meeting with Members of the Provincial Assembly from District Attock. She emphasized that providing clean drinking water throughout Punjab is a key government priority, which will be addressed through the Saaf Paani Project.
The Members expressed their appreciation for the launch of an electric bus service in Attock. They highlighted that this service would offer significant benefits to women, students, and elderly people in the area. Additionally, they praised the Model Village Project, describing it as a groundbreaking initiative aimed at fostering the development of rural regions.
