Mehbooba Asks India to Take Path of Dialogue, Reconciliation

Srinagar: In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party Chief Mehbooba Mufti has asked India to take path of dialogue and reconciliation. Addressing a ceremony in Srinagar, she said people of Jammu and Kashmir want peace with dignity. She said Kashmir issue cannot be resolved by deploying more security forces, enforcing draconian strict laws or jailing youth.

According to Radio Pakistan, Mehbooba Mufti emphasized the importance of dialogue in addressing the longstanding issues in the region. She highlighted that the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir should be respected and that peace can only be achieved through understanding and communication.
