Minister Ahsan Iqbal Urges Balochistan Government to Address Project Execution Bottlenecks

Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has instructed the Balochistan government to identify and resolve any impediments that are affecting the timely execution of development projects within the region.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Iqbal issued these directives during a meeting held to assess the progress of the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) projects in Balochistan. He highlighted the necessity of optimizing the budget to address the province’s most urgent development needs amidst current economic constraints.

Minister Iqbal further emphasized the importance of prioritizing resources for critical projects, particularly those with physical progress exceeding 70 percent, to expedite their completion. He also mandated the involvement of the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission to employ satellite imagery for better monitoring and tracking of project progress in the region.
