Minister Aleem Khan Advocates for Enhanced Rescue Protocols on Motorways

Islamabad: Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has urged the implementation of robust measures to prevent accidents and ensure timely rescue operations for injured passengers on Pakistan’s Motorways.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, During a high-level meeting with the National Highway Authority, Minister Khan emphasized the critical need for immediate medical response capabilities that could save lives in the aftermath of road accidents. He highlighted the urgency of enhancing safety and rescue protocols to provide medical aid swiftly to accident victims.

Minister Khan also advised the National Highway Authority to focus on practical and achievable projects, underscoring the importance of realistic planning and execution in enhancing national infrastructure. Furthermore, he stressed the strict enforcement of the freight and logistics policy to improve overall traffic management and safety on the motorways.

The call for improved safety measures comes as part of a broader initiative to ensure that Pakistan’s motorways are not only efficient but also secure for all users.
