Minister Calls for Collective Efforts to Promote Urdu

Islamabad: Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, has termed Urdu as a symbol of Pakistan’s cultural identity and national unity. During a visit to the National Language Promotion Department in Islamabad, he emphasized the need for all departments under the National Heritage and Culture Division to collaborate in promoting the Urdu language.

According to Radio Pakistan, the minister highlighted the importance of Urdu as a unifying force in the country’s diverse linguistic landscape. He urged the departments to implement effective strategies and programs to enhance the usage and appreciation of Urdu across various platforms and within educational institutions.

The visit underscored the government’s commitment to preserving and promoting Urdu as a vital element of Pakistan’s heritage. The minister’s call for collective efforts aims to ensure that Urdu remains a vibrant and integral part of the nation’s cultural fabric.
