Minister Highlights Ambitions to Bolster Pakistan-Bangladesh Relations

Islamabad: In a meeting held in the capital city, Bangladesh High Commissioner Muhammad Ruhul Alam Siddique met with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to discuss bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in various fields, with a specific emphasis on promoting cricket.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Interior Minister emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with Bangladesh, citing plans for increased collaboration. Naqvi announced his intent to visit Bangladesh soon, following directives from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The meeting also addressed the upcoming Champions Trophy, with the Interior Minister assuring that preparations for the event are on track. The Bangladeshi High Commissioner expressed his country’s appreciation for its ties with Pakistan and extended good wishes for the successful organization of the tournament. He noted the strong support the Pakistan cricket team enjoys in Bangladesh.
