Minister Highlights Critical Role of SMEs in Economic Growth

Muridke: Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain emphasized the pivotal role of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the national economy, describing them as its backbone. The minister made these remarks during a conversation with journalists, where he outlined the government’s plans to bolster the SME sector.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Hussain announced the introduction of a comprehensive and simplified program aimed at supporting the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority. The initiative, which is being developed under the supervision of the Prime Minister, seeks to enhance the operational framework and support mechanisms available to SMEs across the country.
