Minister Highlights Government’s Efforts to Advance Women’s Rights

Islamabad: A delegation from UN Women Pakistan and the Interagency Gender and Development Group met with the Minister for Law, Azam Nazeer Tarar, to discuss initiatives for enhancing women’s rights in Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions centered around developing collaborative strategies and targeted actions to overcome the ongoing challenges that women face in the country. The Minister emphasized the government’s ongoing efforts to advance women’s rights through significant legislative measures. He further stated that these initiatives are in alignment with Pakistan’s international commitments to ensure equal opportunities and protection for women.
