Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources visits under construction Petroleum House

Islamabad, September 02, 2015 (PPI-OT): Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources Jam Kamal Khan Wednesday visited the under construction Petroleum House. During his visit to the 12‑story Petroleum House, which is spanning over approximately 1,63,000 square feet and being built at a cost of Rs 857 million, the minister had a thorough examine of it, many necessary requirements were directed to be completed as the building had already taken a lot of time. Many weaknesses of the building were highlighted which was designed, executed and completed during last government.

Additional secretary and Joint Secretary (Development) of the ministry briefed the minister on the Petroleum House and noted. The government has spent huge amounts in making this facility, however its planning and architectural weaknesses has delayed its final completion and usage. The minister instructed said authorities to complete it at earliest so that it can be brought to use.
