Minorities, Religious Freedoms Fully Protected in Pakistan: Ramesh Singh

Lahore: The central ceremony marking the martyrdom day of Guru Arjan Dev Ji was held at Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Lahore on Monday. Addressing the ceremony, Punjab Minister for Minorities Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora emphasized that minorities and their religious freedoms are fully protected in Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, Sardar Ramesh Singh also announced that the Punjab government has allocated a budget for the restoration of 15 gurdwaras. He highlighted that the government is committed to preserving religious sites and ensuring the rights of minority communities.

Furthermore, Sardar Ramesh Singh assured that there are no visa restrictions on Indian Sikh pilgrims from the Pakistani side, and the Wagah border remains open for Indian Sikhs, facilitating their religious journeys.
