Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Offers Condolences on Passing of Mufti Ejaz Ahmad Farooqi

Srinagar: Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has expressed sorrow over the passing of Mufti Ejaz Ahmad Farooqi in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq visited the residence of Mufti Ejaz in the Elahi Bagh area of Srinagar. There, he offered condolences to the late Mufti’s son, Mufti Haidar Ahmad Farooqi, Mufti Azam Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, and other family members. He also prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and for strength for the bereaved family.

Mirwaiz and the Mufti family have shared a long-standing bond. The late Mufti Ejaz Ahmad Farooqi was a close relative of renowned Kashmiri scholar, Mirwaiz Muhammad Yusuf Shah.
