Mohsin Directs Strict Action Against Immigration Mafias

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed to continue strict and indiscriminate action against mafias involved in illegal immigration. He was chairing a meeting in Islamabad which reviewed the performance of FIA’s immigration wing. The Interior Minister said those involved in human smuggling deserve no leniency. He emphasized that Pakistan’s reputation could not be compromised under any circumstances.

According to Radio Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi instructed the FIA to ensure the effective enforcement of immigration laws and stressed that the airport immigration checking system should be further strengthened. Action against the professional beggar mafia was discussed during the meeting. The Interior Minister ordered an effective crackdown against the professional beggar mafia and their abettors.
