Mohsin Naqvi, Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati Discuss Regional Affairs in Tehran

Tehran: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati, the Senior Adviser on International Affairs to Iran’s Supreme Leader, in Tehran to discuss matters of mutual interest, including Pakistan-Iran relations and the regional situation. The meeting focused on strengthening ties between the two nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions included an exchange of views on the current regional situation following the Iran-Israel ceasefire. The Interior Minister conveyed best wishes from Pakistan’s political and military leadership to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Mohsin Naqvi reiterated that Pakistan and Iran have consistently supported each other during times of war and peace. He emphasized the resilience of the relationship between the two countries, stating that no enemy could create a division between them.
