Mohsin Orders Crackdown Action Against Illegal Money Transfers

Karachi: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed authorities concerned to launch an indiscriminate crackdown against people involved in illegal money transfer through Hawala and Hundi.

According to Radio Pakistan, while chairing a meeting in Karachi, Mohsin Naqvi also emphasized the need for action against agents involved in sending beggars abroad, as it tarnishes Pakistan’s image.

The Minister further stated that the trade of counterfeit medicine is completely unacceptable and insisted that those involved should be dealt with iron hands.

Additionally, Mohsin Naqvi ordered strong action against non-custom paid products and directed strict legal action against passengers attempting to take more than five thousand dollars abroad.
