MoRA to Organize National Hifz-e-Quran, Husn-e-Qir’at Competition

Islamabad: A two-day 40th National Hifz-e-Quran and Husn-e-Qir’at Competition, organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, will commence in Islamabad tomorrow.

According to Radio Pakistan, participants selected from district and provincial levels across the four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Islamabad will take part in the national event.

The winners of the competition will be announced on Thursday. Separate categories have been reserved for women and girls participating as Hafizas and Qarias.

Top performers of the National Competition will receive cash prizes and the honor of representing Pakistan in the country’s first International Hifz-o-Qir’at competition in November.
