Mughal Road in IIOJK Remains Closed Due to Heavy Snowfall

Jammu: The Mughal Road in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has been shut for vehicular traffic for the fifth straight day due to heavy snowfall in the higher reaches, including the area of Peer Ki Gali.

According to Kashmir Media Service, officials reported that the alternative route linking Jammu’s Poonch with south Kashmir’s Shopian district was closed on December 29 after heavy snowfall. The road has since remained inaccessible with additional snowfall worsening conditions.
