Musadik Calls for Construction of Water Reservoirs

Islamabad: Minister for Climate Change Dr. Musadik Malik has emphasized the urgent need to construct water reservoirs to address Pakistan’s future water and energy challenges.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Musadik Malik, speaking to a private television channel, stated that building water reservoirs is essential to meet the growing needs of the agriculture sector, which supports nearly fifty percent of the country’s population.

The Minister also stressed that political consensus is crucial for undertaking major dam projects across Pakistan.
