Musadik Calls for Protection of Forests, Wetlands

Islamabad: Minister for Climate Change, Musadik Masood Malik, has emphasized the need to protect forests and wetlands as part of the strategy to tackle with the challenge of climate change. Speaking at an event in Islamabad today in connection with World Wetlands Day, he highlighted the devastating impact of natural disasters on both lives and livelihoods.

According to Radio Pakistan, he also mentioned that a plan has been devised to ensure effective waste management and treatment.
