Mushtaq Ahmed to Return to Pakistan on Thursday: Dar

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced that former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed is scheduled to return to Pakistan on Thursday. Arrangements have been made by the Foreign Office to facilitate his return.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar shared this information in a post on X, revealing that he communicated with Senator Mushtaq through Pakistan’s Ambassador in Amman, Jordan. Dar confirmed that Senator Mushtaq is in good health and spirits.

Ishaq Dar praised Senator Mushtaq for his involvement in the Sumud Flotilla, which aims to support the Palestinian cause by breaking the siege and delivering humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged the Senator’s courage and steadfastness in this endeavor.

Senator Mushtaq expressed his gratitude for the Pakistan Foreign Office’s efforts in reaching out to him. He also thanked the Pakistan Embassy in Amman for its support and facilitation during his stay for ensuring his safety and well-being.
