Muslim Student Abducted and Assaulted in Meerut

Meerut: Gulfam Saifi, an IIT student and aspiring national-level shooter, was allegedly abducted and assaulted in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, in an incident his family describes as a targeted attack.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the episode unfolded on Saturday evening while Gulfam was returning from shooting practice. Gulfam’s family claims that a group of three to four men abducted him and transported him to an abandoned swimming pool at Victoria Park. At this location, the assailants allegedly forced him to chant “Jai Shri Ram” while subjecting him to physical violence. The attackers reportedly stripped Gulfam and left him unconscious after the assault.

Gulfam is currently undergoing treatment for his injuries at a private hospital. His family has voiced concerns over the incident, describing it as a deliberate act of violence against their son.
