Muslim World League Denounces Israeli Actions in Gaza

Riyadh: The Muslim World League has issued a strong condemnation of the ongoing Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip, highlighting the continued targeting of civilians, essential facilities, and civilian infrastructure.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, a statement from the General Secretariat of the Muslim World League, delivered by His Excellency the Secretary-General, Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, criticized the Israeli actions in Gaza and throughout the occupied Palestinian territories. These actions are described as violations of religious values, international and humanitarian laws, and norms, posing a threat to peace efforts. The statement also expressed appreciation for the declarations made by the foreign ministers of several countries, including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Qatar, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey, addressing these violations and advocating for the protection of Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.

The statement emphasized the urgent need for the international community to fulfill its moral and legal responsibilities to ensure an immediate halt to all Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
