Mustafa Kamal Assures Accountability for PIMS Fire Tragedy

Islamabad: Minister for National Health Services Mustafa Kamal has assured that those found responsible for negligence in the PIMS fire tragedy will not be spared at all. Speaking in the Senate, he stated that the committee constituted by the Prime Minister to investigate the fire incident will present its preliminary report tonight. Kamal emphasized the need for collaborative efforts, rising above political differences, to prevent such incidents in the future and ensure the safety of children.

According to Radio Pakistan, senators from both the treasury and opposition benches expressed deep grief and sorrow over the deaths of the newborn babies. They called for a detailed investigation into the incident and demanded strict action against those found negligent in the discharge of their duties. The House has now been prorogued.
