Mustafa Kamal Calls for Strengthening Healthcare System

Karachi: Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustafa Kamal has said necessary steps are being taken to make the Basic Health Units functional across the country to reduce the burden on hospitals. He was addressing a ceremony of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan in Karachi today. The Minister stressed the need to strengthen the healthcare system in the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, Kamal emphasized that the activation of Basic Health Units is crucial to alleviating the strain on larger healthcare facilities. The Minister highlighted that efforts are underway to ensure these units are operational and effective in providing primary healthcare services to the community.
