NA Lauds Sri Lanka’s Decision to Continue Cricket Team Tour of Pakistan

Islamabad: The National Assembly today passed a resolution hailing the decision of the Sri Lankan Cricket Board to continue the tour of their cricket team in Pakistan despite all threats.

According to Radio Pakistan, the resolution was moved by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry. It acknowledged the personal interest of the Sri Lankan President and the entire government in ensuring the continuation of the tour. The resolution also praised the efforts and commitment of Interior Minister and Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi for his role in salvaging the tour.

The house has now been adjourned to meet again tomorrow at eleven am.
