NA Resumes Debate on Evolving Regional Situation

Islamabad: The National Assembly today commenced discussions on the evolving regional situation, particularly focusing on the martyrdom of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the session, lawmakers voiced their condemnation of the attack on Iran and paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the Iranian leadership. The assembly members expressed their solidarity with the Iranian people and emphasized the need for unity among Muslim countries to address challenges facing the Ummah.

Several notable figures participated in the discussion, including Aniqa Mehdi, Abdul Qadir Patel, Hameed Hussain, Aasia Ishaque Siddiqui, Sehar Kamran, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Syeda Shehla Raza, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Sanaullah Khan Mastikhel, Mir Ghulam Ali Talpur, Nisar Ahmad, and Shandana Gulzar. The session concluded with the announcement that the House will reconvene tomorrow at 2 p.m.
