NAB Chief, Qatar Envoy Discuss MoUs for Cooperation in Criminal Matters

Islamabad: Chairman of the National Accountability Bureau, Nazir Ahmed has met with the Ambassador of Qatar, Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater in Islamabad. Both sides discussed finalizing a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in criminal matters between NAB and Qatar’s Administrative Control and Transparency Authority.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions aim to establish a framework for mutual assistance in criminal investigations and enforcement actions. The proposed MoU is expected to facilitate collaboration in tackling issues related to financial crimes and corruption, enhancing the effectiveness of both entities in their respective jurisdictions.
