NACTA Approves Establishment of NIFTAC

Islamabad: The 5th meeting of the Board of Governors of NACTA, chaired by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, has approved the establishment of the National Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Center (NIFTAC).

According to Radio Pakistan, the Interior Minister highlighted that the establishment of this center came after consultations with relevant departments to fully combat terrorism. The Interior Minister emphasized that NIFTAC will be a significant step toward achieving NACTA’s core objectives and will ensure the full implementation of the National Action Plan.

Furthermore, the Interior Minister announced that the center will also be established in all the provincial capitals. Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry stated that NIFTAC will enhance the operational capacity of NACTA.
