NADRA, Radio Pakistan Launch Collaboration to Raise Public Awareness

Islamabad: Following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NADRA and Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC), a significant initiative has been launched to enhance public awareness of registration services through radio. A delegation of NADRA’s district-level representatives, led by Syed Shabahat Ali, Head of the Public Engagement Department, visited Radio Pakistan. The delegation was received by Director General Saeed Ahmed Sheikh and his team.

According to Radio Pakistan, the session focused on equipping field officers with the skills necessary for effective participation in radio programmes. It included an orientation on Radio Pakistan’s national reach, as well as hands-on exposure to live broadcast environments. Under this collaboration, NADRA’s district offices will actively participate in radio programmes to provide accurate information on registration processes, address citizen queries in real time, and promote awareness of identity services.

By utilizing Radio Pakistan’s extensive network, particularly in remote and underserved areas, the initiative aims to bridge information gaps and strengthen citizen facilitation. The programmes will be broadcast from 21 PBC stations in 14 languages, ensuring wider access to audiences across Pakistan.
