Rawalpindi: Namaz-e-Janaza of twelve Shuhada who embraced Shahadat while defending the motherland against unprovoked and cowardly aggression of the Afghan Regime, was offered in Chaklala Garrison Rawalpindi, today. Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Federal Ministers, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, civil and military officers, and the public attended the funeral.
According to Radio Pakistan, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif spoke on the occasion, emphasizing that the people of Pakistan are indebted to the ultimate sacrifice of these heroes. He highlighted that these brave sons of soil laid down their lives while defending the territorial integrity of the country against the cowardly and treacherous aggression of the Taliban Regime and Indian sponsored terrorist proxies operating from Afghan soil.
The Defence Minister further stated that the armed forces of Pakistan, with the full support of the nation, remain resolute to thwart any aggression and conspiracy against the country.
