Naqvi Orders Fast-Track Verification for Spanish Card Applicants

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed authorities concerned to simplify and expedite the verification process for applicants seeking the Spanish Resident Card.

According to Radio Pakistan, Naqvi issued these instructions while co-chairing a meeting in Islamabad with Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain. The meeting focused on streamlining procedures related to the Spanish Resident Card.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Spain, Dr. Zahoor Ahmed, provided a detailed briefing on the card, clarifying that the policy does not apply to individuals seeking political asylum. The new measures aim to facilitate the legal status of thousands of Pakistanis residing in Spain.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain expressed his support for the development, highlighting it as a positive step towards granting legal status to many Pakistanis. The initiative is expected to significantly benefit the Pakistani community in Spain by providing a more efficient process for obtaining residency.
