National Accountability Bureau Khyber Pakhtunkhwa arrests accused Muhammad Aimal Khan and Nisar Aziz involved in substandard and ghost Developmental Projects in Mingora Swat

Islamabad, December 30, 2015 (PPI-OT): NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today arrested accused Muhammad Aimal Khan, Contractor S/o Muzafar-ul-Mulk Ex-MNA and Nisar Aziz Sub-Engineer of Pak PWD Batkhela Swat who is involved in substandard and ghost Developmental Projects in NA -29 Mingora Swat and caused colossal loss to the public exchequer worth millions of rupees.

As per details, Pak PWD Batkhela Division awarded various developmental schemes to Muhammad Aimal Khan owner of M/s National Builders. All these schemes were shown executed as per record, wherein grave illegalities i.e. ghost and substandard schemes were identified during the course of investigation.

The accused Nisar Aziz Sub-Engineer Pak PWD Batkhela recorded fictitious measurements, ghost and unexecuted or partially executed schemes and signed bogus entries in Measurement Books on the basis of which payments have been made to the Contractor. Further investigation is being actively pursued by NAB KP and more facts are on card. The accused persons will be produced before Accountability Court Peshawar for obtaining their physical remand.
