National Assembly of Pakistan Reschedules Saturday Meeting to 9:30 PM

Islamabad: In a notable adjustment to its schedule, the National Assembly of Pakistan will now convene its session on Saturday at 9:30 PM instead of the previously planned 7:00 PM. This time change applies to the session slated for October 19, 2024.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the decision to modify the meeting time was made by the Honourable Speaker under the authority granted by sub-rule (2) of rule 49 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007. This shift aims to accommodate unspecified needs that prompted the rescheduling.

The circular issued to all members of the National Assembly emphasizes the importance of noting the new meeting time to ensure all legislative members can adjust their schedules accordingly.
