Nationwide Anti-Smuggling Crackdown Expected to Yield Results: Naqvi

Lahore: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has praised the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for its efforts in combating smuggling activities across the nation. Speaking to reporters in Lahore, Naqvi highlighted the force’s ongoing nationwide crackdown, promising positive outcomes in the near future.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the ANF has launched operations targeting drug traffickers, focusing particularly on those operating within educational institutions. The initiative aims to protect the youth from narcotics.

Naqvi also expressed gratitude to the Saudi government for assisting in the repatriation of a Pakistani family affected by a fraudulent scheme. He warned citizens to be cautious of offers for free Umrah packages, which may be deceitful.
