Navy Conducts Port Security & Harbor Defence Exercise

Karachi: Pakistan Navy conducted a two-day port security and harbor defence exercise at Port Qasim Karachi. The exercise was aimed at ensuring timely identification, swift prevention, and effective countermeasures against potential threats to maritime installations.

According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Navy’s Coastal Command, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, Karachi Port Trust, and other law enforcement agencies participated in the exercise. The exercise featured various scenarios aimed at testing the preparedness and joint response capabilities of the participating organizations.

Special emphasis was laid on enhancing communication capabilities, situational awareness, and integration of the command and control systems. The exercise reflects the commitment of Pakistan Navy and relevant institutions to safeguard maritime assets and ensuring uninterrupted commercial activities.
