Lahore: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced that Nawaz Sharif IT City will serve as a pivotal opportunity hub for youth development. She revealed plans for establishing campuses of international IT institutes and universities within the ITK City. Maryam Nawaz Sharif made these remarks during her message at the launch of World Science and Peace Week, emphasizing the critical role of science and technology in fostering development and building a peaceful and prosperous society.

According to Chief Minister of Punjab, science and technology hold the key to progress, and modern IT training is being provided to equip the youth for self-employment in line with international job market demands. The initiative also includes offering international certification to enhance the professional capabilities of freelancers. The Punjab government is implementing IT-based reforms across various sectors, including education, health, and agriculture, with a commitment to digitalize every sector within five years.
