NC Leader Criticizes Government’s Handling of Rajouri Health Crisis

Jammu: Amid the growing death toll from a mysterious illness in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a senior member of the ruling National Conference has criticized the government for its ineffective response.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Chaudhary Naseem Liaqat, District Development Council Chairperson for Rajouri, expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s handling of the crisis, citing a lack of clear answers.

He has called for the expedited release of viscera reports to determine the cause of the deaths, emphasizing the need for transparency and urgency in the investigation.

Liaqat also urged Health Minister Sakeena Masood to engage more actively with the affected community, highlighting the necessity of a more direct and responsive approach from the health authorities.

The call for action comes as the region grapples with uncertainty and fear, pressing the government for decisive measures to address the health emergency.
