Rawalpindi:The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has executed a significant raid on an illegal call centre located in Satellite Town.
According to Radio Pakistan, the operation resulted in the arrest of sixty-one individuals. Authorities seized seventy-one mobile phones and one hundred and fifty-five laptops during the crackdown.
The arrested individuals were allegedly involved in international fraud schemes, including foreign loan recovery scams, and were accused of extorting citizens through threats. A case has been registered, and further investigations are ongoing.
