NDMA Issues Weather Advisory for 13-16 June

Islamabad: The National Emergencies Operation Center of the National Disaster Management Authority has issued an impact-based weather advisory from tomorrow to Wednesday. The advisory outlines expected weather patterns across various regions, focusing on potential impacts of hot weather and isolated rainfall.

According to Radio Pakistan, in Punjab, the weather is expected to remain hot throughout the week. However, the Potohar region and upper Punjab, including Islamabad and Rawalpindi, might experience cloudy conditions, scattered rainfall, and windstorms from tomorrow to Monday.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the forecast predicts mostly hot conditions, with the possibility of scattered rain and windstorms in several districts. Meanwhile, Sindh and Balochistan are expected to remain predominantly hot and dry during the advisory period.

In Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, hot weather will prevail; however, areas such as Astore, Skardu, Hunza, Shigar, Bagh, and Neelum Valley may receive isolated rainfa
ll from 13th to 16th of this month.
