Islamabad: National Disaster Management Authority has issued a weather advisory from Saturday till Tuesday, forecasting light rain and snowfall in hilly areas of the country.
According to Radio Pakistan, cold and dry weather is expected in Punjab, plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan, while fog will prevail in Sindh.
Murree, Galiyat, Potohar region, and hilly areas of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will receive light rain and snowfall during the forecast period. Similarly, very cold and cloudy weather with intermittent snowfall over higher elevations is expected in Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
