NDMA Launches Documentary Series on Climate Change Risks

Islamabad: National Disaster Management Authority has initiated a series of documentaries as part of its robust risk communication strategy in view of climate change.

According to Radio Pakistan, as part of its strategy, NDMA’s series of documentaries focus on climate change, hazard profile, and area-specific vulnerabilities to enhance risk information for people and promote the culture of preparedness among communities.

The NDMA’s fresh documentary titled “Climatic Dynamics and the Karakoram Anomaly in Gilgit Baltistan Story 4” explains the intriguing phenomenon of the Karakoram Anomaly and the science behind it.

Pakistan is ranked as the fifth most climate-vulnerable country globally.
