Necessary facilities provided on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali (Radi Allah Anho)

Karachi, August 01 2013 (PPI-OT): Following the directives of KMC Administrator Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi necessary facilities were provided on various locations for central processions on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali (R.A). Fire brigade, rescue unit, ambulance services and snorkel were standby on the routes of processions and central procession was also being monitored through command and control system consistently.

Fire brigade staff and rescue teams from KMC Municipal Service Department were standby in various areas which include Mazar-e-Quaid, Saddar Dawakhana, Mama Parsi School, KMC Head office, Kharadar, Methadar and near Kakri Ground and they were also in contact with police and rangers whereas special squad of city wardens in four mobiles was standby near Islamia College.

This special squad consisted of 40 city wardens. Emergency camps with reference to this day were also setup on the routes of central procession by KMC every year which were standby to fulfil emergency necessities.
