NEOC Releases Details on River Water Flow and Flood Situations in Key Areas

Islamabad: The National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC) of NDMA has released details regarding river water flow and flood situations in various areas. At Kotri barrage, there is currently a moderate flood situation with a recent flow of approximately four hundred thousand cusecs. A continued flood situation is expected at Kotri until the end of September.

According to Radio Pakistan, at Guddu and Sukkur Barrages, the water flow is gradually decreasing and is expected to remain normal. In the Ravi River, there is a decreasing trend in flow at Ganda Singh Wala, while low-level flood conditions persist at Sulemanki and Islam Barrages. Due to the current flow levels in the rivers, there is a risk of low-lying areas becoming submerged at several locations.
