NEPRA Announces Reduction in Power Tariff Under FCA.

Islamabad: NEPRA has announced a significant reduction in electricity prices. It has notified a Rs 1.28 per unit reduction in the power tariff in the fuel cost adjustment (FCA) for the month of September under a monthly mechanism.

According to Radio Pakistan, this reduction will be applicable to all consumers except life line, pre-paid, and electric vehicle charging stations. Additionally, it will not apply to the consumers of K-Electric. Previously, an 86 paisa reduction in FCA was charged in August.
