New Law Being Enforced Soon to Eliminate Land Grabbing from Punjab: CM

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that a new law will soon be enforced to combat land grabbing in the province. Addressing the passing out parade of the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) in Lahore, she highlighted the government’s commitment to tackling this issue.

According to Radio Pakistan, Punjab is set to become the first province to implement a new model of governance aimed at curbing land encroachments. Chief Minister Nawaz emphasized that the removal of encroachments in crowded markets has already led to increased business activity and enhanced public convenience.

In her address, Maryam Nawaz urged PERA officers to remain dedicated to public service, underscoring the importance of their role in the successful implementation of the new law.
