NHA Closes Multan-Sukkur Motorway M-5 Due to Flood Water

Multan: National Highway Authority has closed Multan-Sukkur Motorway M-5 from Multan to Taranda Muhammad Panah and Uch Sharif due to flood water.

According to Radio Pakistan, flood water has started damaging the motorway on both sides near Jalalpur Interchange, where stones are being placed to protect the road.

Northbound traffic is being diverted from Uch Sharif, Jhangra and Jalalpur Interchange, while southbound traffic is being re-routed via Shah Shams, Sher Shah and Shujaabad South Interchange.
