NIA Apprehends Wanted Individual in Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA), in conjunction with paramilitary and police forces, has detained an individual in Kupwara district of the Indian-administered region of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the NIA, working with police personnel, arrested Muneer Ahmad Banday in the Handwara area of Kupwara. An official police statement revealed that Banday had a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh on his capture.

The arrest follows a series of cordon and search operations conducted by the Indian Army in Margi, Lolab, and other areas within the Kupwara district.
