Nine Dead in Floods Across Gilgit-Baltistan

Gilgit: Nine people have so far died in the floods across Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, Spokesperson of Gilgit-Baltistan Government Faizullah Faraq stated that ten to twelve people are still missing, while three stranded tourists have been successfully rescued.

The floods have caused significant damage, with more than five hundred houses and twenty-seven bridges affected across the region. The Diamer district has experienced the highest financial and human losses due to the floods.

The spokesperson added that Pakistan Army and GB Scouts have actively participated in the rescue, search, and relief operations.
