No compromise on anti-encroachment campaign: Buzdar

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar says anti-encroachment and anti-land mafia operation in the province will be continued without any compromise.

Talking to MPAs from Sargodha division in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said the operation will be taken to its logical end.

The Chief Minister said PTI government will bring an end to corrupt system and new Local Government system will be introduced.

Meanwhile, a full-fledged anti-encroachment and anti-land mafia operation continues in different cities of Punjab.

During the operation in Lahore, heavy machinery is being used to raze the buildings on encroached lands and over thirty one thousand kanals of state land and 35 acres of Forest department is being vacated.

A permanent anti-encroachment cell has also been established in Lahore to monitor the drive and two teams have been constituted to carry out the operation smoothly.
